Program Description

What is the South Atlanta Adventure Boot Camp?
Strong Legs!A four-week (length may vary during the holiday season) outdoor fitness program led by your Certified Boot Camp Instructor. Each day, your camp will be 1 hour in length, starting at 5:30AM. You will be motivated and inspired. You will have fun, and you will get a fantastic workout!

Are there advantages to exercising outside?
Definitely. Being outdoors, especially, if you have a hectic lifestyle and/or spend most of your day enclosed in an office or car, offers a natural source of rejuvenation. Exercising in the open air invigorates your body and calms your mind. You will find it to be a refreshing alternative to the sweaty crowds and high noise levels commonly found at health clubs and community gyms. We do, however, have a convenient indoor location for inclement weather.

Is boot camp for me?

If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, then boot camp is for you!

What if I'm not very physically fit?
Regardless of your age or ability, we encourage you to participate. You will not be left behind or asked to complete more than you are capable of doing, safely. You will compete only against yourself, but will work with others for the very best results! Each day, as you become stronger, your workout will increase in intensity--under the watchful eye of an instructor. By the end of camp, you will be amazed at your accomplishments!

What types of exercises are included in the program?
Core conditioning, cardio training (including short distance running, jumping rope, etc), calisthenics, circuit training, Pilates, sport yoga, resistance training, obstacle courses, sports drills, games, and more…all designed to help you reach your health and fitness goals!

Where are the classes held?
We are located in the South Fulton area. We will email you our exact location when we receive your registration!

We are always looking for new locations! If you would like us to bring a camp location closer to you, please contact us.

How often will we meet?
Morning (5:30AM) camp meets Monday through Friday for 1 hour unless otherwise noted. We also offer a 3 day option and an evening (7:15PM) class. All participants will be expected to arrive on time. Camp starts promptly at 5:30AM or 7:15PM!

What do I need to bring?
Ladies working outYou need to bring an exercise mat, a water bottle (to keep you hydrated), hand weights (5-15 lbs.), and a towel. Optional items in the winter: gloves and a hat. All items can be purchased at Target, Walmart or any sporting goods store.

Note: On chilly mornings when we are outside, you will want to dress in layers, as you will get warm very fast!

It is also essential that you have a good pair of, properly fitted, running shoes. (Cross-trainers will not provide you with sufficient support.)

What is the cost (or the investment in myself)?
Each 4-week, four (4) days-per-week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri), boot camp has a registration fee of only $239. Multiple camp sign up discounts are available here! Since personal trainers typically charge between $50 and $120 per hour for their services, this is a great opportunity to receive quality fitness instruction for just a fraction of the cost! We also offer a three (3) days-per-week option for $189.
